You must immediately (or within 48 hours) report the theft to the local police, who will issue you with a receipt.

Please note: the police incident report is THE reference document and must therefore mention the exact circumstances of the theft. Compensation will only be paid for items that are reported and included on the incident report.

You must then submit your claim to us within 5 working days of the day you become aware of the theft, together with the following documents:

• the police incident report;
• invoices for the personal effects stolen
