The rental civil liability covers you up to €100 00 for damages to the rental property due to a water damage, fire or explosion  for which you would be held liable as a tenant towards the landlord and third party (neighbors, a passer-by).

Beware, you must be able to provide a rental agreement or lease.

This is why it is important to sign a rental agreement when you rent an accommodation, a villa, an apartment for the holidays or a weekend!
