What is CFE?

C.F.E = Social Security Fund for the French Abroad.

It is an organisation whose aim is to cover French nationals who live overseas by offering them a cover very similar to the French Social Security.

This way, CFE offers benefits to cover illnesses, disabilities and pregnancy with refunds based on the refund fee schedule agreement.

Example: The cost of a general doctor consultation in Australia is €150. CFE will give you a €14 refund.
