Credit card insurances (even Gold cards) are very limited in benefits. Medical expenses are not covered from the 1st euro and a € 75 excess is applied to the refund. Simple visits with a Doctor are therefore not reimbursed and the claims process is long and tedious.

There are also many exclusions for sports.

Beware, important information: the credit car insurance only covers the spouse, partner, and ascendants and descendants that live in the same household. So, if you travel with friends, please note that only the card holder will be covered by the credit card insurance.
