The reimbursement takes into account the date of purchase of the item. 

You will be reimbursed on the basis of the purchase price of the item, to which we will apply a rate of depreciation, subject to the limits stipulated in your policy.

The compensation ceiling is €2,000, including €1,000 for valuable objects.

The depreciation applied to calculate the compensation is 1% per month from the date of purchase, up to a maximum of 80% of the original price. 

For instance : your camera, bought on 1st January for €1,000, is stolen on 31st December of the same year. Twelve months have passed since the date of purchase, so you need to subtract 12% from the initial price. Your final refund will be €880 (€1,000 - 12%).
