If you have finished your studies abroad but have found a work placement under contract with your school or university, you can remain insured with your Cap Student contract and even extend it. The maximum subscription period is 24 months.

If your international student visa is due to expire but you still want to continue travelling, we can redirect you to our Cap Aventure policy. Please note that you cannot benefit from this contract if you have been away from your home country for more than 24 months at the time of purchase.

Whatever your choice, make sure that there is no interruption in cover between your policies, so as not to have a 12-day waiting period (a period during which your medical expenses will not be covered).
