If you wish to welcome an overseas visitor, you must fill out a Certificate of Board and Lodging at the town hall of your place of residence. Then again, you will be asked to provide a a Schengen visa insurance policy along with the certificate.
Indeed, in March 2001, the Schengen Space countries signed an agreement allowing foreign citizens to freely move about within the territory on a single visa.
In order to be granted the Schengen Visa, it is a legal requirement that the holder has an insurance that will cover health related expenses in case of a hospitalisation. The threshold for medical expenses must be a minimum of €30,000.
Our insurance will cover you in the visited country, in all other Schengen Area countries, as well as Cyprus, Romania and United-Kingdom.
